Halloween in Greenwich Village

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, mostly because of the costumes! This year Jennie and I were Odette and Odile from Swan Lake.

No, not that one.

Not that one either.
Somewhere in between, but yes, we were the Black Swan and the White Swan. We saw lots of other girls with the same idea, but they were wearing tutus...and we wisely did not. We just wore dresses and LOTS of feathers.

And got weird looks on the subway.

Here are my favorite costumes from the Halloween parade in the Village:

Boba Fett! Making that jet-pack must have taken him forever!

Dia de los Muertos outfits.

An amazing astronaut!

A giant green bug...pretty elaborate.

Zombie Kermit and Lamb Chop!

Rapunzel!

Carmen San Diego and Waldo!!! I thought that was really creative.

Mayhem!!! This was my second favorite.

And my favorite:

The 1 % !

There were actually lots of people dressed as the 1 %, wearing nice clothes and carrying fake money, but this was the most creative.

I hope all of you had a fun Halloween!
